ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD

I was part of the video team for technology conference Electromagnetic Field in 2022 and 2024. With roles including camera operator and vision mixer for a high volume of presentations across the event. The above video was about a command line tool Atuin which I switched in real time in response to the presenter’s pacing.The stage was filmed on two Sony camcorders on Litedeck platforms and cut on a Blackmagic ATEM 1M/E Constellation switcher.

More Together Festival

In the summer of 2024 and 2025 I supported the launch of More Together Festival, vision mixing for the live stream and overflow screens. I directed the camera operators to achieve consistent coverage of the six main sessions. Content included talks, live music and morning devotionals.The stage was filmed on three Panasonic PTZ cameras rigged to truss and cut on a Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio Pro switcher. Production Management by CSL and Sound Engineering by Resound Audio.

Rising Lights

In the Spring of 2026 I was invited to support the launch of Rising Lights, a new confrence hosted by The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). I perfomed vision mixing and camera direction for IMAG and the live stream across thirteen sessions. After the meetings I supported with implementing a new backup system to capture archival versions of the worship and talks. Working closely with the higlights videographer to deliver this footage ready for inclusion in thier films on a short turnaround.

Training & Qualifications

PASMA Certification Successfully completed the Towers for Users course, covering essential safety training for the assembly, use, and inspection of scaffold towers.

Avolites Academy – Intermediate Level 1 Completed in-person training on programming the Titan range of lighting consoles, developing skills in lighting control and show operation.

City & Guilds - Manual Handling Completed an accredited course on safe manual handling techniques, including risk assessment and best practices for injury prevention in the workplace.

Approved Creative Industries Safety Passport (BECTU/Prospect) – IOSH-accredited qualification focused on health & safety, risk assessment and live event–specific hazards including working at height, electrics and site safety.
